By downloading, installing, or using StampScan ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
These terms apply to all users of the App, including free and premium subscribers.
2. Description of Service
StampScan is an AI-powered mobile application that provides:
- Stamp identification using artificial intelligence
- Market value estimates based on publicly available data
- Digital collection management tools
- Price tracking and market trends
The App is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy of identifications or valuations.
3. User Accounts
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscription and Payments
Free Tier: Limited features including 3 scans per day and storage for up to 50 stamps.
Pro Subscription: Full access to all features with monthly ($7.99/month) or annual ($29.99/year) billing options.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device settings
- Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play policies
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Circumvent any security features or usage limits
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Resell or redistribute App content without permission
- Upload malicious content or attempt to harm the service
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by StampScan and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent.
Stamp images you upload remain your property. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process these images for identification purposes.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- The accuracy of stamp identifications or valuations
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- That the App will meet your specific requirements
Market values are estimates based on publicly available data and should not be considered professional appraisals. For valuable stamps, we recommend consulting a certified philatelist.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StampScan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Financial decisions made based on App data
- Loss of data or collection information
- Service interruptions or technical issues
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
